As with past years, iFit will be providing and serving food on December 15 to the cold weather shelter. There will not be a bible study this day, instead we hope you interact and have fun with our guests. We need dedicated people to bring food and serve. Cooked food must arrive at 5:45PM and cleaning needs to be completed by 7:30pm. This effort will need a lot of participants, so please please help out by signing up for something. We have to feed a total of 50 people (which includes both guests and us who are helping with cws).

Beginning on November 17 we’ll be starting a new series about prayer. We hope this will be a rewarding and challenging lesson. We also hope to have weekly prayer activities, although we’ve yet to decide them. We’ll once again have a collaborative effort between church leaders and ifit folks leading the lessons. This lesson will most likely be eight weeks. If you have any questions about prayer, let us know. For example:
-How do you pray in groups and feel comfortable?
-What happens when two people pray for opposite things? (football teams, war, etc)
-Is it ok to pray for <insert>? (like wanting the stop lights to be green on commute, or more money, or for someone to get better even when you know they’re not, etc)

There is a variety of colors to choose from, but we’ll probably need to select one color for female and one color for males. I figure about 15 male and 15 female shirts, which would give is some extra, but we might get more if people want multiples. Hoodies are available too but they’re expensive. Shirts will be around 15 each.
