Hey all,

I am proud to present the iFit website:
http://ifit.cornerstone-d6.org

Check it out! I hope you enjoy it. Its still not completely finished, but its getting there. If there is anything that you feel should be on the site, let me know. And register for the forums, it is quick and simple. Bookmark or Add to Favorites and check the site for updates throughout the week.

May 15 – Weekly Devotional at 7:00pm
There will be a devotional on Tuesday, May 15 in the Cornerstone worship center.
If anyone is interested in grabbing a quick dinner before the devotional, we’ll be meeting at Panera Bread on Dobbin at 6:30pm.

Saturday May 19 – Trash Cleanup Service Opportunity at 10am
The wooded land around the Cornerstone building is in need of clean up. The area is littered with bottles, cans, trash, etc. iFit has volunteered to pick it all up. So mark you calendar! We’ll also put any cans that we find in the bins for Habitat for Humanity. Wear clothes and shoes that you won’t mind getting dirty. Some gloves would probably be nice if you have any. And I’d recommend long sleeves and long pants cause the woods have little bushes and maybe some thorns. Bring whatever you feel like would help.
We’ll also grab lunch together. Maybe order some sandwiches or something, who knows.

Saturday, May 26 – Sunset Tours Kayak Trip
Enjoy a relaxing paddle and the breathtaking view along the shores of the Gunpowder River while the sun slowly sets on the Bay. http://www.ultimatewatersports.com/tours.html
The trip is from 6:00pm – 8:30pm on May 26 (Memorial Day Weekend) and costs $55 per person. Cheryl Jenner is in charge of organizing the kayak trip coming up. She can tell you what to wear, give you directions and answer any questions you may have. Please note that kayaks are available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis, so you will want to get your money in to Cheryl as soon as possible.
If you’d like to come along, contact Cheryl.

Prayer Requests
Here are some of the things that are on the hearts and minds of the iFit members. Please keep one another in your thoughts and prayers.

Emily – A young girl, relative of Audie Lee Richeson, who is going through a lot of health related issues.
Justin – Friend of Jonathon who is getting deployed to Iraq. And all the other soldiers over seas.
Jonathan’s Great Aunt – Recently diagnosed with a serious case of cancer.
Brandon’s Father – Recently had a heart attack and is undergoing surgery
Ben’s Sister Pat – Diagnosed with brain cancer and undergoing treatment
Cornerstone Kid’s – The church Sunday school is having a hard time finding teachers. Please keep this situation in your prayers. And if you feel like helping out, let Michael know and he’ll point you in the right direction of who to contact for more info.
    Mairim – pray for strength

As a side note to prayer requests. The Cornerstone Internal Ministry is responsible for coordinating a prayer chain for the whole church. If you want more info or are interested in being a part of this, contact Tanya

Decorate the Board
There is a cork board in the hallway near the entrance doors for the worship center that is reserved to display information regarding iFit. Its has a couple fliers and such posted right now, but its really ugly. We need to spruce it up. I think Cheryl is going to bring some black cloth that we can cover the board with. If you have any other ideas and materials, bring them this Tuesday, May 15 to the devotional and we’ll decorate the board then.
