SCHEDULE CHANGE!!!

Movie Night - Friday January 11
Originally we had the Retirement home service thing on this day. However, after contacting the retirement home, the best time for them will be this coming Saturday. I’m sorry to change plans on you all. So instead, we’re going to do a movie night at the church. I have a christian stand up comedy DVD that is pretty funny. We’ll meet at the church at 7pm. Feel free to bring some sodas and snacks if you want :-) I may order some pizza, depends if everyone wants some.

Retirement Home - Saturday January 12
The plan is to get active in the community with caring and fellowship. We’re going to try and spend sometime at a retirement home and probably play bingo or something. We’re going to Somerford Place Alzheimer Assisted Living Center off of snowden river parkway. We’ll probably only stay for an hour or so. We’ll be meeting there at 2 or 3pm. We’ll finalize a time as soon as we get back up with the events coordinator at the home and I’ll let everyone know at the movie night.

Bowling - Saturday January 26
The iFit group is hitting the lanes again for another bowling social. This will be the regular bowling style, not duck pin. We’ll probably do dinner too. Location and time TBD.

Special Tough Questions Devotional with Dave Maxham - Tuesday January 29
Last year, Dave Maxham made a guest appearance to iFit. He lead a “Tough Questions” devotion regarding some tough things that Christians have to face and think about. Unfortunately, we had so many questions we couldn’t answer them all. So he is coming back for round two. We’ll try to get to the ones he didn’t answer, but if you have some new ones you’d like some help with, let me know and I’ll add them to the list. You can also post them on the ifit message if you prefer. This special devotional will be on Tuesday January 29th at our normal meeting time 7pm.

Prayer Requests
Here are some of the things that are on the hearts and minds of the iFit members. Please keep one another in your thoughts and prayers.

    Justin (Tanja’s Nephew) and Alistair as he spends time with him.
    Lisa’s relatives, Tracy and Jamie - Their home caught on fire and they’ve pretty much lost everything.
    Jerimi’s Cousin died in a house fire back in December. Keep the family in your prayers.
    Jessi, lots of work creating midterm exams for her class.
    Kenya, Although michael’s family is doing ok, please pray for them and the country that these conflicts will resolve peacefully.
    Mairim’s Brother and wife. They have a new baby!! Mairim is an Aunt! so pray for her family as they start this journey.
