Hey all,

Java Jam - Friday November 16 at the Cornerstone Worship Center.
Haven’t had your coffee fix and desiring the company of friends? Introducing the new flavor (pun intended) of the iFit game night! We’ll be making various coffee type drinks using multiple flavors of coffee and different creamers. We’ll have iced coffee and a blender for the slushy kind. Loads of caffeine! And maybe we’ll have some decaf for the less energetic.

We’ll be playing board games, card games, and maybe some video games. Some talk of even watching a movie on the big screen. We’ll probably order some pizzas too and if you want to bring some desserts that would be awesome. Prepare to stay up all night, yay coffee, while we have lots of fun.

It will start at 6:30-7ish. We’ll probably order pizzas at 7pm.

Bring some board/card games. Maybe a movie or two. We’ll decide as a group what we feel like doing. Also, we’ll have few flavors coffee and creamers there, but if there is a special flavor that you really enjoy, bring some to share with everyone else! Also, bring a small dessert if you’re up for it. Maybe some cookies.

Dinner at Ruby Tuesdays - Tuesday December 4
The Cornerstone worship is unavailable for our weekly devotional. But we won’t let that get us down. We’re going to head to Ruby Tuesday for dinner and fellowship. Be there around 6:30 or 7ish.

Prayer Requests
Here are some of the things that are on the hearts and minds of the iFit members. Please keep one another in your thoughts and prayers.

  • Tanja’s Sister and Nephew - going through some tough moral issues
  • Ben’s Sister Pam is still recovering from brain surgery
  • Ben’s Cousin passed away, please keep the family in your prayers
  • Sara and her co-worker as they tackle some work relationship issues.

Cornerstone Christmas Shop :-)
During Hurricane Noel, our friends in the Dominican Republic were hit hard with flooding. The community has been devastated and families have lost everything. Cornerstone is making an effort to help the flood victims get back on track and to bring a little cheer to the holiday season. Money, Clothes, etc will be donated to the DR community to help rebuild. So how can iFit get involved? You’ll learn more in the coming days, but we hope to help out as a group! Perhaps we’ll go buy clothes, or wrap gifts, or help organize, who knows what else. So plan on helping to bring some joy to our friends in the DR.
