Hey All,

Weekly Devotional - Tuesday April 8
There will be a devotional/bible study meeting at 7pm at the worship center. This devotional will have a guest speaker, Brenda! She’ll be leading a discussion on King Solomon’s decision making.

To the Park - Saturday April 12
After several suggestions, our “upick” social has become a trip to the park. We’re going to head over to Lake Elkhorn (off of broken land parkway) to enjoy a nice peaceful day in the sun. We’ll play games, like croquet, frisbee, nutz, etc. We’ll meet at 12:30pm. You’re welcome to bring a packed lunch and we can all eat together, but everyone will be responsible for bringing their own. If the parking lot is full, you may park in the ‘Lakeview’ parking on the opposite side of broken land parkway. There is a trail that leads under the road to the park.

Prayer Requests
Here are some of the things that are on the hearts and minds of the iFit members. Please keep one another in your thoughts and prayers.

-Amy: Her mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and is undergoing chemotherapy, but she’s sick. Also, a friend of hers recently lost her mom and has now checked herself into psychiatric treatment.
-Tanja’s family, and guidance for her to make some important decisions
-Brenda’s son, James will start group counseling, may the counselor be a instrument of God to help the youth in that group, and may James and the other kids understand that the consequences of their actions will come solely upon themselves
-Jeannette: she has applied for an editorial position she really wants, may she get it. Also, she needs guidance in a decision to move on with a certain situation, may God keep her close no matter the decision
-Jessi: she’s looking for a new job, may God provide a job that is not as stressful
-Jessi’s friend, Megan, was diagnosed with breast cancer, may God use that situation to bring her and her husband closer to God
-Jerimi: has a test tomorrow (Thursday) for work, may he pass it. Also, he just sold his house, and is looking for a new place, probably in the Eastern Shore, may God provide the right place (and may he still be able to come to Cornerstone).
